Dr. Matthias Stolmár presents employee inventor’s law to LES Hungary in Budapest

Dr. Matthias Stolmár from Stolmár & Partner will present general aspects of employee inventor’s law and in particular of compensatory remuneration to members of the Licensing Executives Society Hungarian Group (LES Hungary) in Budapest on October 18, 2019.

An employee's invention is an invention made by an employee within the scope of his employment relationship and the employee's activity, which is regarded as patentable or utility modelable. In Germany, the employee is entitled to compensatory remuneration.

There are many pitfalls in the field of employees' inventions, especially for foreign companies having an R&D department in Germany. Dr Stolmár and his colleagues have extensive knowledge in this field and are happy to help you align your company's strategy with best practice.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information in this matter:

6th annual Pharma and Life Science day - a great success

6th annual Pharma and Life Science day - a great success

The 6th Pharma and Life Science, organized by Stolmár & Partner and co-hosted by ArnoldRuess and Meyerlustenberger Lachenal, took place last Friday at the beautiful Schloss Suresnes, a gem hidden in Schwabing next to the Englischer Garten. Over 40 in-house counsels discussed a variety of hot topics from pharma and biotech industry, ranging from the ever present CRISPR/Cas over important legal questions such as the newly introduced SPC waiver and the Falsified Medicine Directive to more exotic topics like the Nagoya Protocol and its implications on patent litigation.

Participants raved not only about the choice of speakers and venue, but also about the intimate atmosphere allowing scientific exchange and networking to extend far beyond the five presentation sessions. The day ended pleasantly with a reception at the Seehaus at the lake in the Englischer Garten during which more connections were tied.

Given the positive feedback, we are happy to announce that we have already fixed a date for the 7th Pharma and Life Science Day. So mark 17th July 2019 in your calendar or, even better, register for our newsletter to receive all updates via email.
