Dr. Britta Fischer
started working in Intellectual Property Law in 2000 at the patent department of the former DaimlerChrysler AG.
Britta is admitted at the German Patent Office as well as the European Patent Office and the OHIM. She is also allowed to practice before the Swiss Intellectual Property Office (IGE).
In her day-to-day practice, Britta focuses on drafting and prosecution of patent applications, opposition and infringement proceedings, and freedom-to-operate analyses in the technical fields of electrical engineering, semiconductors, LED technology, batteries, physics, mechanical engineering and computer-implemented inventions (software, AI, autonomous driving).
Britta was a member of an Examination Committee of the European Qualifying Examination for several years, and afterwards a CEIPI tutor.
In her spare time, Britta enjoys hiking, travelling, and piano playing.
