Dr. Hans-Jörg Rembold
After holding a post doctoral position at the Salk Institute of Biological Studies, La Jolla, California, U.S.A., he worked as a researcher at Byk-Gulden-Lomberg, chemische Fabrik GmbH, Konstanz (now Takeda Nycomed) on the synthesis of novel pharmaceuticals.
He began working in the field of Intellectual Property in 1994 and has extensive experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications, conducting opposition procedures and drafting of opinions. He has specific knowledge in the field of organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, adsorbents, foundry technology, catalysts, electronic devices, and chemical engineering.
Hans is admitted at the German Patent Office as well as the European Patent Office and the OHIM and is a member of GdCh, FICPI, epi and VPP.
In his leisure time Hans enjoys rowing with his crew on nearby Lake Starnberg, or hiking and skiing in the Alps. He also likes working on his collection of model railways.
