Dr. Matthias Stolmár
has been practicing IP law since 1996 in industry (Robert Bosch GmbH) as well as in private practice. He focuses on prosecution and litigation of patents in the fields of chemistry, pharmacy, biotech and materials sciences. Further he has extensive experience in negotiating license agreements. He also assists clients in IP Due Diligence, expert opinions (freedom-to-operate) M & A and developing patent and trademark strategies.
Mr. Stolmár holds a law degree of the University of Strasbourg (CEIPI) in Patent Litigation in Europe.
Matthias is admitted at the German Patent Office as well as the European Patent Office and the OHIM. He is also allowed to practice before the French (INPI) and Swiss (IGE) Intellectual Property Office.
Matthias is a member of ECTA, DFJV, epi, FICPI, LES, and AIPPI Germania Lausanne. He serves as a board member of the IP section of the German Chemical Society (GdCh). In his spare time he enjoys skiing, decathlon, hunting, playing football and tasting wines from around the world.
