Dr Bublak has many years of experience in the patent field (prosecution, opposition and appeal proceedings before the German and European Patent Offices, grant proceedings of supplementary protection certificates for pharmaceutical patents, nullity proceedings before the BPatG and BGH).
He counsels clients on the validity (incl. searches) and scope of protection of patents and drafts freedom-to-operate and due diligence analyses. Another focus of his work lies in the areas of employee invention law and licensing agreements. In addition, he assists start-ups and SMEs in the marketing of inventions.
Especially noteworthy is his participation in numerous patent infringement proceedings before various district courts and higher regional courts.
Since 2009, Wolfgang is in the group of the best lawyers in Germany (Best Lawyers).
Dr. Bublak is admitted as representative before the GPTO, the European Patent Office and the EUIPO.
