Dr. Denise Nestle-Nguyen has been working for Stolmár & Partner since 2015 and has recieved her complete training here. In 2019 she was admitted as German and European Patent Attorney and she is also registered as representative before the Austrian Patent Office. Furthermore, she holds the „Diplome d’Université d’Etudes Superieures sur le Contentieux des Brevets en Europe“ from the University of Strassbourg, allowing her to represent clients at the Unified Patent Court. 

Having passed her PhD in biotechnology, Denises focuses mainly on biotech & pharma, where she advises both start-ups and SMEs during prosecution and in strategic matters including FTO and validity analyses. She is also well versed in opposition proceedings acting either on the opponent‘s or patentee‘s side.

Denise is also in charge of Stolmár & Partner‘s China Desk. Being fluent in Chinese, she is the ideal advisor for all matters in Asia.

 

During my time in China, I realized that for doing business successfully, awareness of cultural differences is just as important as language skills.
